The trustees of Platform are a group of people elected from within the organisation who over see the running of the charity. They are responsible for the management of airfusion, and are ultimately accountable for airfusion.
Jeb Hawkins: Trustee and Site manager
Jeb as been involved in airfusion for a number of years, and has this year taken on the challenging task of site manager. This post entails site structural integrity, site health and safety, and general smooth running of the site though liaison with a number of other teams. Jeb has also played an important role in PR and fundraising for this years event. As chair of the Teignbridge Youth council, Jeb also provides a link with many of the local schools and colleges in the area. Jeb_Hawkins@Hotmail.com
Kevin Woolway: Trustee and technical manager
Kevin is one of the founding members of the organization, and has recently become a trustee. Kevin has been involved in theatre lighting and sound for a number of years. Since its beginning, Kevin has been lighting manager for airfusion. Kevin?s duties for this year?s festival include; main stage hire, site insurance operating the main stage lighting rig and over seeing technical requirements for the contemporary dance stage. kevinwoolway@hotmail.com
Daniel Hill: Trustee, website co-ordinator, dance tent technical manager.
Daniel works closely with the airfusion team in the provision of the website and communications within the organisation. During the festival Daniel works as the Dance Marquees technical manager. Daniel was also one of the founding members of Airfusion.
Martin Arliss: Trustee, Treasurer, head of security and director of stewarding.
Martin works closely with the Police and Newton Abbot Town Council throughout the year on behalf of Platform. During the festival Martin works closely with the emergency services, and security teams.
Janet Bradford: Trustee, Founder and manager of contemporary dance stage.
Janet is responsible for the organisation and running of the very successful Contemporary Dance stage at airfusion, providing many young performers the opportunity to perform in public. Janet is also the principal of Stagecoach Southwest.
Janet has this year joined the board of trustees, and is platforms first female trustee.
Richard (Dick) Smith: Trustee, and visual arts co-ordinator.
Dick works closely with a large number of other young local artists to give airfusion its colour and unique feel. Dick was also one of the founding members of Airfusion.
Chris Aplin: Trustee, and assistant technical manager.
Chris helps out in a number of different capacities at airfusion. Chris has both compered and performed on the main stage as a member of his band ?The Crackers.' Chris also helps out on both the site and technical teams, and hopes to run his own stage specifically for younger performers in the future.
Ian Woolway: Trustee, Stage Manager and senior technical crew.
Ian is responsible for the smooth running of the main stage, and close liaison with the senior technical team. Ian has a number of roles at committee level which have in the past included book keeping.
Senior members of the airfusion team
Although the trustees have ultimate accountability for the festival there are many other equally important members of the team with out whom airfusion would never happen.
Paul Stevenson: Founder of airfusion.
Paul's activities have in the past included over seeing finances and covering the overall picture for the airfusion festival and platform. Paul was not only one of the founding members of Airfusion, but was the originator of the organisation.
Paul has now retired from the group to give space for the youth who have learnt there new skills to come forward and shine in the organisation.
Many thanks go to Paul for all the hard work and input he has put in to make the organisation and airfusion what it is today!
Don’t worry Paul will still be at airfusion with an AAA pass but with no portfolio to enjoy this years event and to step in if problems that need his life long experience needs his attention.
Matt Vinyl: Dance tent manager, DJ, and director of entertainment.
Matt was the founder of the now renowned dance marquee at airfusion. Matt also has a number of different roles at committee level, in PR for airfusion and in the programming the stages at the festival.

Kelly Barr: Secretary to Platform.
Kelly has joined the team this year in the capacity of secretary. This is an important role which involves taking meeting minutes, and aiding in organisational communication.
Colin Hewes: Senior sound technician (main stage), and advisor to other stages/tents.
Colin lives locally with two teenage sons, and has been a part of the local business community since 1986. Colin runs two businesses; one as an engineering contractor, and the other a P.A. hire Company(Audio Production company specializing in outdoor Festivals & events).
Colin says: ?In July 2003 I walked on to the park to say what a good idea I think Airfusion is and to congratulate the organizers...I haven't left since! Those immortal words ?So your a sound engineer a?...what are you doing tonight?? still ring in my ears!?
Colin is also training as a therapeutic counselor, and works as a volunteer for Devon Youth Association at Newton Abbot Youth Advise Centre.
James Ousby : Technical Crew Member
James has been involved in airfusion for a number of years in a number of different capacities.
Kate Green: Administrator and fundraiser.
Kate has worked since 2002 on successful grant applications, sponsorship and publicity for airfusion. Kate is also workshop leader with young people on Photoshop.
Greg Ramsdon: Senior site and arts team.
Greig works closely with both Adam on site related tasks and Dick with art work for the festival. Greg has developed visual projections with Tim for the main stage and worked with Ollie Stroud on filming the event.
Pauline Arliss: Kitchen manager.
Pauline and her team work tirelessly in the crew camp to keep everyone fed & happy!
Kevin Attwood: Senior site crew, and founder of the alternative music tent.
Kevin is a member of a number of different teams as airfusion. His activities include stage building, cable laying, tent erecting?and many other tasks. Kevin also runs his own venue at airfusion.
Maeve Heath: Ents manager.
Maeve is another original member of the group who started airfusion, who works with Alex to welcome the artists to the festival ground.
Up and coming crew
As a training festival, airfusion is always looking for young and enthusiastic people to get involved and train. Below are some of airfusion's most promising young crew members, and the future senior team of airfusion.
Jason Morris
Jason has been involved with airfusion for a number of years both as a performer in his band ?The Morris Brothers Band' and as a member of the technical team.
Jason has also recently been awarded national guitarist of the year.
Mark Woolway
Mark has been associated with airfusion for many years, and helps out in many different areas of the festival.
Matilda Miles
Matilda has this year joined the airfusion crew with general interest in the organisation of festivals, with specific interest in festival art.
Jonathan Yates
Jonathan is a member of the airfusion crew and the forum moderator.
