The Registered charity 'Platform' is responsible for the organisation of airfusion.

Platform was formed following the first airfusion festival in July 2000 which emerged out of regular summer events arranged in collaboration between Teignbridge District Council and Coombeshead College. These had involved young people in bands and contemporary dance pieces, demonstrating enormous ability and enthusiasm.

The second festival (2001) expanded on the foundations laid the previous summer into packed three day weekend event. The third festival (2002) was held at Decoy Country Park, where a very large scale and successful festival was enjoyed by all.

The fourth festival (2003) established airfusion at Courtenay Park with its lovely surroundings, big trees and children's play area. The park is just opposite the railway station and free parking is available for the weekend at the Forde House Council car park, just around the corner.

2004 established Air Fusion as THE top music event on the Devon calender of Summer entertainment, come and see what its all about in 2006!
